  • Created in 2006 by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the University of Girona the Catalan Institute for Research in Cultural Heritage wants to place the heritage received, the legacy of time and civilizations, the thread of memory, at the center of its activity.

    In Catalonia the trail and accumulated vestiges acquire a singular dimension associated with the historical, social, institutional and cultural evolution of our territory. Sites, monuments and equipment define a rich and remarkable network
